a message from the founder

Beena Shirur

Rooted in Heritage, Woven with Love.

Namaste! I am Beena Shirur, the founder of Root Looms.

Root Looms is more than just a saree brand; it is my dream, my passion, and my journey of learning and growth.

My love for sarees and India’s rich textile heritage inspired me to build a brand where women can discover beautiful handloom sarees that celebrate our traditions, craftsmanship, and timeless elegance.

At Root Looms, I bring together a thoughtfully selected collection of handloom sarees, cotton sarees, silk sarees, and festive sarees, each chosen to help you celebrate your special moments in style.

Behind every saree is a journey of selecting designs, exploring traditional weaves, learning about textiles, and working hard to build a brand that reflects quality, authenticity, and care.

As a woman entrepreneur, my journey is filled with new learnings, challenges, and dreams for the future. With every step, I hope to bring you sarees that make you feel beautiful, confident, and connected to our Indian heritage.

Thank you for being a part of my journey and for supporting Root Looms.
